any idea please for a presentation about Turkey ?
hi ! I'm a French student and I'll make a presentation about the history,culture and traditions of Turkey . I went to Istanbul for a week and I also got a lot of information from the net,but I don't know how to organize them . I just chose 5 regions to talk about ( istanbul,ankara,izmir,antalya and trabzon ) because turkey is too big and I just have 1hour presentation. so could you please help me with your suggestions ? here is my plan 1.a brief introduction about the history of Turkey ( the ottoman empire / Ataturk ) 2. the culture of Turkey 1. Istanbul ( topkapi / blue mosque / dolmabahce / misir bazar ) 2.Anakra 3.Izmir ( main monuments ) 4.Trabzon 5.Antalya 2. The folklore music and dance ( horon / kasik oyunu /kolbasti ) the turkish cuisine ( food like imam bayildi / iskender/ sis kebab / bakleva ...) any idea please ? Thank you in advance :)

well i am only 15 but your plan sounrealal good to me i dont think you need to fix anything i like the organization of the presentation

as a turk i feel so proud right now, that if i knew french i would have created the whole presentation for you. i think your points are good, but i don't know if you would have a lot to talk about, about Trabzon and Antalya. A brief introduction about history should cover a little more than the Ottoman Empire and Ataturk. Maybe this could help: http://tripatlas.com/Turkish_people Read the history part, and etymology, add a little about the Ottomans, and Ataturk, Subtract a little, there you are, the introduction is ready. You probably have a lot of information from the internet. But I think these are good links.
