Birthday present for my turkish boyfriend? Birthday celebration in Turkey?
My boyfriends birthday's coming up, and I have no idea about what to give him or what to do for his birthday. We haven't been together for so long, so don't know him so well. He is in his twenties, turkish (I'm not), likes listening to music (whatever's on MTV and radio etc), football (which I hate and don't know anything about). Cares about his look. Mostly hanging out with friends, watching movies etc in his spare time. He is good painter/drawer though, so guess he likes doing that. Want to give him something a bit personal or romantic to though. Not to expensive, I'm just a poor student:s Also wonder, what is normal birthday celebration for young people in Turkey? What should I as his girlfriend do for his birthday? I'll be very grateful for a good answer:)

Please ignore the chimps above (actually there is ONE chimp that has over 100 Yahoo accounts) he is a TROLL and has a serious issue about Turkey and Turks (for some reason) Anyway, a birthday present does not always have to be something expensive. Be creative in thinking of a romantic birthday gift for your boyfriend. If he has always given you flowers before, why don't you return the favor by giving him a dozen red roses? It will make him remember you as the only girl who ever gave him roses for his birthday.A gift basket with all the things that he likes on one delightful package also makes for a great birthday present for your boyfriend's birthday. A basketful of chocolates or wine is a wonderful birthday present.

my bf is turkish, one of the first things i bought him was an mp3 player and put my favourite songs on as well as his, he really liked it as it meant he could learn new words in english. framed photos of you two would be nice too

spend a good day with him... you can celebrate in a nice restaurant or go to a club since he is over 18. digital photo frame is a good idea, or sth original about football teams, or an ipod(you can type whatever you want on an ipod surface)
