doI need a visa before I fly to turkey or I can get it once landed?

If you need a visa to travel to that country, you need to get it before you fly.

have fun on your trip to turkey...i loved it there. but yes you do need a visa to go to turkey and i copied and pasted the info for you. United Kingdom: Ordinary and official passport holders are required to have visa to enter Turkey. Ordinary passport holders can obtain three month-multiple entry visas at the Turkish border gates. I also posted a site for you regarding travel in Turkey...again have fun and I envy you.

I know if you fly to Istanbul (Ataturk airport) that you can purchase the visa right there in the terminal just before passport control...and you can pay with credit card. I don't know about other airports in Turkey though. 3 month, multiple-entry Visa for U.S. and Canadian citizens currently costs 60 USD or 45 Euros. I don't remember the cost for other nationalities.
